Gastrografin allergy symptoms?

Many: Allergic reactions to any drug vary widely from patient to patient. In my experience, it is very uncommon to have an allergic reaction to gastrografin. Yes: Same as other iodinated contrast. Need to be premeditated with steroids and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) if you need to take it for a test.

Prior reaction: the only way to know for sure is if you have had a previous allergic reaction to Gastrografin. Reactions to oral contrast agents are rare.
