Dangers of drugs: Methamphetamine or "meth" is an extremely dangerous drug. I assume you injected the drug since u are asking about empiric use of antibiotics? My advice is to see an MD now for personal guidance through this problem. Your life is in danger and Healthtap is not the forum for this type of healthcare. Z-pak: Z-pak won't effect viruses, only certain bacteria. If z-pak used for no reason, it can result in side effects and complications. Best bet: don't do meth, use protected sex or abstinence, and don't take z-pak. See primary doctor ASAP.
