Great question. Yes!: We have been interested in leukocyte count variation for a century or so. Leukocyte counts in humans are known to vary as much as 100% during the day. That is to say, a healthy man with a WBC count of 4000 at one point in the day may have a WBC count twice that later in the day. The WBC count usually nadirs in the early morning (0000-0200) and again in late morning (0900-1100).
