Possibly: Allergic conditions are often associated with slightly elevated eosinophils but a sudden change in bowel habit (let's say for more than a week's duration) without a major change in diet (such as higher fibre intake) requires some attention. Have you had a colonoscopy on a regular basis? If not, it's time for one.
