Depends: background?: In isolation your pain could be intercostal nerve, as you've described it. In this case a mid-chest location is not typical for relation to muscle spasm. On the other hand, you have headaches and you are young. So, headaches plus back pains in young woman could be a stress syndrome, in which case muscle spasm is often the intermediary mechanism. Details make big difference in possibilities.
