Chlamydia, pregnancy: Chlamydia infection during pregnancy needs to be treated with an appropriate antibiotic to prevent vertical transmission to the baby. Although vaginal delivery of an infected mother poses a higher risk to the baby than a C-section, infection of the baby may still occur with C-section. You need to discuss treatment and delivery options with your OB.
