Procedure : The only way to "cure" reflux and a patulous GE junction is with an endoscopic or surgical procedure. The medical evidence suggests the best endoscopic procedure is Stretta, and the best surgical procedure is a fundoplication. You would need a consultation, and a number of tests to determine if it is right for you. These include GI contrast X-ray, pH test, esophageal manometry, and endoscopy. Hope this helps!
