V it D: Vitamin D is very important for bone health as it facilitates the absorption of calcium. Low vitamin D levels are too common and are felt to play an important role in many different body functions and not just in bone health.

Bone health: Vitamin d3 is a supplement for a naturally made essential vitamin in the human body (vitamin d). We get a good portion of this essential vitamin through the sunlight and without it - many adverse reactions can occur including bone weakness. Supplements are often given to folks found to have a low vitamin d level based on a blood lab value as well as others with osteopenia and for bone health.
