Lopsided head: It is not normal. It is due to the baby lying on its back for long periods. Increase tummy time to help improvement of the shape of the skull. If the head is too misshapen, your pediatrician might recommend a special helmet

Sometimes: Sometimes one of the sutures can close too early (craniosynostosis). Another cause is if the baby has a congenital torticollis, and he can't move his head fully to one side or he sleeps to much on one side ( positional plagiocephaly). This is the more common cause. This is usually treated by putting the baby in another position and possible physical therapy. I'd discuss with his physician
