Yes: I assume that you mean Mirena (levonorgestrel) rather than Mitena. With the Mirena (levonorgestrel) IUD, many women will stop having periods after a time, and that time varies greatly. Some will stop after only 2 months.

Yes: The most common problem is spotting but amenorrhea does occur for many with he Mirena (levonorgestrel).
