Yes: Increased sweating is a very common side effect of all the SSRIs. I'm glad to hear it wasn't happening to you on 20 mg daily, but it is not uncommon even at that dose. Various strategies have been suggested for managing that problem, but none without their own side effects. I've heard of some success using Periactin, (cyproheptadine hydrochloride) if the higher dose of citalopram is really required for your treatment.
