I've been on celexa (citalopram) 5 weeks now and every night have had intense night sweats since starting. how can i relieve this + is it dangerous? (dehydration?)

Benefit/side effects: Treatment of any kind including medications is based on benefits outweighing side effects/problems. If celexa/citalopram is helping you dramatically ; you otherwise are doing great, you need to consider whether or not the sweating is so severe as to stop it or change medication. The sweating is unlikely to be dangerous. Discuss further with your doctor to ensure there is no other sweating cause.
