Not necessarily: It will depend on the type of work you do and the type of birth you had. C-section patients will most likely need 6 weeks. Normal vaginal deliveries with no stitches and no complications can probably go back sooner. Talk to your doctor about this. I went back to work in 2 weeks after one of my kids. I DO NOT recommend this!
