Knee had some fluid drained+cortisone shot 1.5 weeks ago. Still painful and swelling is the same as when I left. Why? What + can anything be done?
I have tried NSAIDS . Was previously on 800 mg ibuprofen 3x a day. Caused stomach issues. Was put on tramadol. No difference in pain despite taking it 4x a day. Have been given cortisone shots . Helps with pain for approx 2 weeks, then back to pain and discomfort. Pain scale varies between 4 to 7 on daily basis depending on activity. I need to lose weight but knee pain prevents me from vigirous exercise Arthritis?
