Great question: My feeling is that Asperger folks are much less TELEOLOGICALLY oriented in their thinking on life & its problems. That means everything that happens (good or bad) has an identifiable & definite cause as opposed to thinking more in the abstract (not necessarily religious but that's part of it as well). So, thinking becomes rigid/opinionated, & those with other answers to the question are just wrong
