Been off the depo-provera shot for 4-5 months and am having irregular bleeding ( dif dates each month). when can i try to get pregnant? what's my chances now?

Varies: After the Depo shot, it can take up to a year to become fertile again. However, for some, they can get pregnant immediately after their first missed dose of Depo (lasts 90 days). So, it is tough to say exactly what your chances are. With irregular bleeding however, it may be difficult to time your ovulation.
