Do pregancy test: Very rarely u can get pregnant on depo. Irregular bleeding is very common using this method of contraception . As a rule u should have no period. So do a pregnancy test first.

Depo: Do pregnancy test, if + then pregnant. Initially you may have irregular bleeding, eventually you won't have preriods (most people don't have period by 6-18 months of use). Should not be on Depo-Provera for more than 2 years, and should not smoke (smoking increases risk for blood clots). Period will return after you stop it (may take a few months).
