Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Skelaxin: Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Skelaxin muscle relaxer both increase sedation and drowsiness. Benadryl (diphenhydramine) and Flexeril both increase sedation and drowsiness. Any muscle relaxer and Benadryl (diphenhydramine) will increase sedation and drowsiness and needs to be closely monitored by your treating physician. Hope it helps.
