See a dermatologist: You need a skin specialist. Usually you do not need biopsy to diagnose psoriasis. Neither Benadryl (diphenhydramine) nor prednisone are appropriate treatments for psoriasis. Cultures from skin always grow something, so culture of this common bacteria means nothing without clinical correlation.
