Probably not!: A swallowed baby tooth will more than likely just pass thru your child's system. You can always go the hospital for an x-ray to be sure. I would go to a pediatric dentist to evaluate the site of the list tooth and make sure the adult tooth forming underneath is undamaged and possibly consider something to hold the space for the next 3-4 years until the adult tooth is ready to errupt. Good lock!

Tooth Fairy : A piece of bread, some water and it'll come out after a while. You probably wonder how to tell your parents and how they'll react. Just let them know.

No harm: This happens fairly frequently with baby teeth. It will pass thru his system.

Swallowed baby tooth: In over 40 years of dental practice I have never heard of any problem with this happening. Call and discuss this with your own dentist.
