A member asked:

Does reading while sleeping or liying back, causes crossed eyes? what does?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: There are multiple causes of crosses eyes or "strabismus". Reading itself does not cause strabismus but may manifest it in a patient with accommodative esotropia. All cases of strabismus should be evaluated by an ophthalmologist
