Aspercreme useless..: Asper cream just irritates the skin and acts as a distraction from the other pain. Injections can be helpful, typically given by cardiothoracic physicians/surgeons. Don't waste your money on Aspercreme. CO2 levels insignificant unless multiple tests in a row show abnormalities.
