Is there a way to test tissue in someone's lips?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Biopsy: If there is an abnormal tissue in the lips, or any other site in the body, it can be examined by removing the tissue and submitting it to a pathologist for gross and microscopic examination and additional tests as may be warranted.
