Bacterial vaginosis: Bacterial Vaginosis is caused by the bacteria Gardnerella. It is a common sexually associated infection. Patients need their doctor to perform a pelvic exam and wet prep. Then identify the signs of BV. Treatment is usually straightforward and usually with good result.
