I had a yeast infection last week, took monistat and it went away. the past two days ive had white discharge (not chunky like with a yeast infection)and today ive been experiencing some minor vulvar itching. is this another yeast infection?

Recurrent yeast: Most likely you still have the yeast infection. Miconazole isn't perfect; sometimes other medications work better. Some are entirely resistant to all "azole" drugs. Best to return to your doctor to confirm the diagnosis, perhaps including testing to see if you have an azole-resistant type. Good luck!

Use Monistat 7 for all 7 days and if that doesn't work please bring this up with your Gynecologist who knows your medical history. If you don't have confidence in your Doctor see another for a second opinion.
