Vaginal pain: There are several causes that are possible. Inflammation of the cervix is one, infections are another possibility, etc. The only way to know for sure, if they continue, is to get an internal exam by the GYN. Best wishes.

Cervicitis: Infection would be high on the list. Cancer cannot be ruled out without an examination. Your symptoms need evaluation at your primary care doctor's office urgently.
