No: Hi. No, levothyroxine (L-T4) doesn't cause loss of appetite. In high level (i.e., hyperthyroidism), it accelerates the metabolism, and hyperthyroidism is often associated with weight loss, but it's from the high metabolism burning up more calories, not from a decreased appetite.
