Chest pains: Very fleeting Sharp chest pains are often due to pinching of an intercostal nerve which runs between two ribs. The sharp pains may also be brought on with a deep breath and the jab lasts only seconds. This type of fleeting pain is not characteristic of heart or lung problems and is merely a nuisance. See your Physician if you want reassurance however.

Could be: If your excercise routine is otherwise normal - not harder than usual, short of breath, etc and is infrequent this is not likely a problem. Any exertion all chest pain should be evaluated by a doctor in person but in general brief 1 or 2 second episodes of pain are very rarely a cause of concern. Especially if no other symptoms. It could be a PVC but also muscle spasm, joint pain, etc. go to doc

Not likely.: You may or may not have PVC's at rest but they occur less frequently during exercise. It's probably muscle spasm but your doctor could order an EKG, stress test or place a 24 hour holter monitor if he/she is concerned heart disease or dysrhythmia.
