Depends: This depends on the site of your body being treated, and the dose of radiation being administered. It also depends on whether chemotherapy is also being used. Your radiation oncologist should be able to answer your question.

Radiation is usually: Given daily, m-fri, so its time consuming. Treatments last 15-30 minutes. The healthy tissues account for negative effects, and they vary upon where the tumor to be treated is located. If brain and stomach not treated, usually no vomiting. The most universal complaint is fatigue, a feeling that you have worked when you just had a treatment. Tell us what's treated; i'll ell expected effects. Ask.
