Lately I've been cognizant of the fact that whenever I fall asleep it feels like I'm losing my breath and I start being scared so my heart starts racing been avoiding to sleep lately. People have told me I sleep as if I'm dead and I've noticed that?
I've been noticing a few nights this past month(including tonight)when i barley start to fall asleep i instantly wake up with a racing heart and feeling like my whole body is shutting down like(shortness of breath)(doom feeling)but quicky goes away.
Woke up last night with tingling in left arm and numbness & racing heart with panic attack. Now have tingling in toes on left leg & left arm. Haven't been sleeping well for nearly a week. Also, shortness of breath when I talk at times.
Sleeping problems. I wake up almost every night with my heart racing and short of breath. My cardiologist didn't say much about it. What causes this?
