Probably bruxism: You have a TMJ (tempromandibular joint) on both sides of your mouth. These joints can become painful together or individually. One of the most common causes, especially when you wake with pain, is bruxism, ie clenching or grinding your teeth while you sleep. The causes of bruxism can be more complicated for this forum. Contact a dentist that has expertise in treating TMJ disorders.
