Maybe: Breast fed kids can poo every feed or once a week. They usually slow down after solids are added to their diet.Formula fed babies usually go 2-4 X /d . So your kid may or may not fall into the normal category, Bring it uo at the next checkup.

See answer: At 23 weeks old the child's bowel is still not fully developed, and most likely he is taking in a liquid diet only, so the several "poohs" a day is normal. He should be getting regular Dr visits at his age, at least every 2 months, so be sure to discuss with his Dr. and have him evaluated for his milestones and height/weight-growth charts at each visit. best wishes.
