What can be done about paralyzed vocal cords?

Several options: After you see an ent, there are several options: 1. Voice therapy by a speech pathologist, 2. The ENT can inject substances into your vocal cords to help them meet midline and vibrate better (injection laryngoplasty), 3. The ENT can place an implant in your larynx to push the paralyzed cord to meet the healthy cord. This will help vibration and strengthen your voice.

Two things: 1) speech language pathology treatments 2) collagen injections http://www.Mayoclinic.Com/health/vocal-cord-paralysis/ds00670/dsection=treatments-and-drugs.
