A member asked:

My 8 month old daughter has really watery diarrhea, no fever and she just threw up her whole bottle. what should i do for now?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Count diapers: Hydration is the key element in her care right now. There are some nasty stomach bugs going on around the country right now. If she goes 12 hours without a wet diaper, her mouth looks dry, her soft spot looks sunken, she refuses to drink, or the diarrhea is happening faster than she can drink to keep up with it, those are things to worry about. Hydrate with tiny sips of Pedialyte. No solid foods.
