Blood Sugar: In the absence of newly started medication or illness, lightheadedness and confusion in an otherwise healthy person may be the result of dehydration and electrolyte abnormalities, anemia, thyroid dysfunction and/or low or high blood sugar. If symptoms continue it may be worth while having some bloodwork done along with a pregnancy test if you're sexually active.
