HIV: Screening tests are remarkably accurate at this point and when positive (in hospitals) there is a confirming test done on the blood to rule out false positives. Titers/viral load is a specific test to determine severity of current illness if present. At three months a negative screening test should be reassuring.

HIV testing: Twelve weeks in should be just right for nearly all tests other than the old antibody test. Modern tests call the fourth generation, the HIV DUO or the RNA Tests will all be accurate at twelve weeks.
