Why does deviated septum problem sometimes rises up with ageing, while it goes unnoticed in childhood?

Yes: It may be present from birth, acquired in the womb from tight positioning, or acquired in later life through trauma or infections.I find many physicians routinely fail to examine the nose well in kids, although I find it a significant location of childhood illness. Regardless, the treatment options as a young adult are going to be the same.

Trauma: Trauma often leads to septal deviation, so the longer one lives, the more opportunity for nasal trauma. Also, the septum is largely made of cartilage, which can degenerate with age and become less flexible. However, septal deviation can happen in kids.
