No problem: A small amount of hand sanitizer in your mouth is harmless. If mouth is a bit irritated, just rinse frequently with water, but if no symptoms at this point, unlikely any will develop.

Don't worry: If you got a little hand sanitizer in your mouth when you were cleaning your hands this small amount will not harm you. You may feel some burning in your mouth and throat for a short period of time.

No worry: The hand sanitizer would be dangerous if you have swallowed 8-10 US oz. of most hand sanitizers before requiring medical attention. It is the dose that determines if it’s a poison. Take care and no worry.
