I woke up & my thumb & pointer finger on my right hand were purple. as the day goes by they get darker. lighter in the morning. blood pressure up?

No: This has nothing to do with your blood pressure. If confirmed objectively, it suggests arterial for venous obstruction. Is your hand swollen? (would suggest venous disease) Does it hurt? Is it weak? (would suggest arterial disease). This should be evaluated immediately because if you have an arterial embolism, the next one could cause a stroke. Go to the ER.
