A member asked:

Are crunches bad for your back?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Proper form: not if you protect your lower back with a rolledup towel and use proper form. I suggest consulting with your physician if you have pre-existing lower back issues. Have your feet planted on the floor, hand supporting and behind your neck and lift up only 2-4 inches from the floor.
