See your surgeon: It is possible that the resected rib changed the shape of your chest sufficiently to cause the symptoms you describe. But it's not possible to know that sight unseen, and there's no substitute for the expertise of your surgeon, who did the case and knows the anatomy your body had as he worked. Some ideas: Without an actual examination, I cannot give specific medical advice on your particular health, but surgery will deform the area cut upon. While a punctured lung can occur, this is rare and generally Very obvious. The surgery (or the condition for which the surgery was done) will cause deformity and often scarring and change the function of the area cut upon
