Peptic ulcer: If there is a diagnosis of gastric ulcer confirmed by either imaging or endoscope, it is a yes. You have higher risk of having cancer in the stomach, which has a higher prevalence in Asia. An infection in the stomach caused by a bacteria called H. pylori may also lead to malignancy if the ulcer left untreated. You should see a local gastroenterologist for proper treatment and closed follow up.
