Please re-ask: ...if able. If you have your autopsy report, then it is too late. Am unclear on that part. Folliculitis you describe might be related to psoriaform dermatitis, but could also be due to change in skin flora and essentially infectious. Need examined by your Dr or a Dermatologist for diagnosis between these two (or other), as treatments are significantly different.

Folliculitis: Sometimes using a water source like a hot tub can cause infection of the hair follicles. Suggest antibiotic along with gram stain and culture of one lesion.
