Is it possible that i could be confusing an carotid anurysm with a swollen lymphnode i mean the knot or swollen thing is right on the artery or is ?

See / Feel Node: A carotid artery anuerysm requires a scan of the area. Barring a hematoma/lymphangioma, most often if you can feel it, it is round in nature, it is most likely the lymph node. It is more than likely, especially in the teenage population, the lymph node.
