How Long?: Vomiting and diarrhea can become serious because your body is losing fluids at a high rate. If you have had these symptoms for more than 1-2 days, or your lips are chapped, I do recommend seeking therapy. You are showing signs of dehydration and those fluids need to be replaced. Most gastrointestinal bugs will resolve after a day or two. My advice is to seek treatment.
