Scarring: Some acne scars can shrink and fade over time on their own. However, some do not, and then treatment such as laser resurfacing or dermabrasion may be done. A doctor can provide evaluation and tell you what your options are.

Yes: acne scars are an annoying reminder of the blemishes you finally got rid of. there are creams a doctor prescribes to put on skin that may help (like vitamin a or retinoid creams). laser therapy, fillers, and dermabrasion are other options that can also be effective, if more expensive. often, depending on the scar (darker color vs pitting), the scars will fade with time.
