A member asked:

27, completely healthy, but tsh is 3.43, is it too high for my age? should i seek treatment?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

OK if you feel well: If you are not having symptoms of hypothyroidism I recommend retesting in 3-6 months. If you are unseasonably cold, constipated, experiencing charlie horses or experiencing unexpected weight gain then get it checked in 6-8 weeks.
