A member asked:

Is depression something to worry about??

A doctor has provided 1 answer

Worry? No. Treat? Yes: By TREAT I am mean first arriving at a SOLID diagnosis made by an expert physician. Remember, clinical depression is more than just being sad or blue. It's a chronic condition affecting one to a point of interfering with normal activity which can be debilitating. So 1st, a good diagnosis. 2nd, looking for easy ways to address the CAUSE. Third, appropriate medication or intervention as necessary.
