Not likely: Though bordetella affects humans and dogs in a similar way, infection rarely spreads between species. However, immunocpromised adults are at some risk (though still not very common) according to the CDC. So I would reassure your skittish friends that they are at low risk from your dogs. If you have pertussis, though, you would be contagious to your neighbors.
