Any degree: Any degree is scoliosis. But many people live with mild scoliosis with no consequences. Only if it's over 25 degrees in an adolescent it must be monitored and treated if it's over 40 degrees.

See below. : Any lateral curvature of the spine is considered scoliosis. Most mild and moderate degrees are not serious and do not necessary treatment unless there is a related serious physical limitation. Best is to discuss with your Dr. and get orthopedic consult if indicated.
